Katigvik Bible Camp
is a natural place where people will
meet together and
meet their supernatual God, Savior, and Helper.
Praise the Lord , and the McCafferty/Volkheimer family for allowing us long-term use of their Native Allotment where Knapp Creek flows out into the Noatak River.
This beautiful setting will be the location of our Katigvik Bible Camp.
Most of the mountains here have never been hiked.
The clean, clear water of the Noatak River holds thousands of chum salmon in the summer.
Monster Northern pike patrol the sloughs, and starving grayling await flies in the crystal creeks of the Agi river.
This site faces the south west and gets A LOT of sunshine. Berries, such as blues, aqpiks (salmon berries), black-berries, and cranberries abound here.
Among the animals are Dall sheep, grizzly bear, caribou, moose, porcupine, fox, wolf, wolverine, ptarmigan, and various waterfowl.
It's our Mission to develop the WHOLE STUDENT at our camps....not just the spiritual.
Through various activities and teaching sessions, we feel it's vital to develop the:
CULTURAL
EMOTIONAL
PHYSICAL
SOCIAL
AND PARENTAL side of these students.
